Bear (Teddy) was a special little boy. I rescued him from a farm in Sherborne when he was just 3 days old, after being abandoned by his mum. He was so small, his eyes hadn’t opened and his ears were still flat to his head. He looked like a little mouse. I had to bottle feed him and help him go to the toilet. And so over the short 5 years he was in my life, we built an incredible bond. He was such a good cat, very homely, loyal and great company. I guess due to him being a farm cat he was prone to hunting. We were never short of finding birds or mice downstairs, usually in the middle of the night once he had been out for his routine hunt. Unfortunately one evening in October 2019 he went out and was hit by a car. Devastated doesn’t quite explain how I felt/feel. There are no words to explain how I feel. I miss him beyond words. Taken far too soon but hopefully one day we’ll meet again.
